All of the DT line (DT770-DT990) has a treble oriented sound, so the DT770 will emphasize this. the 250 ohm is a more heautral sounding headhone more neutral bass response but will slap if the song demands them to pretty neutral midrange bright treble. the 80 ohm has a slower driver, more boosted bass less controlled treble. the 250 ohm has a touch more detail and overall sounds more refined due to that faster driver the bass sounds tighter. 770 250 ohm: standard V shaped closed back, nothing special. I prefer the Shure SRH 840 or even the AKG K371. 880 250/600: The best out of the bunch and the only Beyerdynamic besides the T1.2 and T70 that I really like. Standard 250 ohm version is great, the 600 ohm feels a tad more refined (after reducing the treble peak). In comparison to ATH-M50x: Both are flatter in the middle and have a bit more trebles. 80 Ohm is overall flat and more natural, easier on the ears with long term use. 250 Ohm is a bit more U-shaped than both 80 ohms and ATH-M50x, more targetted at analytical listening.
