I mean the TV was $500 at the time of purchase. Itâs now $250 to buy the exact same 2018 model. And any new tv breaking in the first 2 years should not âsound rightâ regardless of price. This has happened with 3 TCL TVs I know of personally and hundreds more. LG is pretty much universally considered the best TV makers these days.
ZD9 is 65"+, 9405 is 75" (9305 actually is Edge LED). Here 55" is still the most sold TV size, while 65" and bigger are picking up, hence pretty much no TVs with FALD: they are in sizes and priceranges usually not bought by many consumers. Also, 2 models have it right now. I think that does fall under the premise of "pretty much no TVs".
The models here are less good compared to the US. OLED do true HDR and often are bellow 1000nits. Anyone that say's HDR is not possible with Edge LED clearly has not seen a Sony 930E. It's easily one of the best TV's bar none for HDR. 930E is a bit of an anamoly but other TVs like the NU8000 can do HDR just fine.
